The Fujifilm Instax Share Smartphone Printer SP-2 has finally arrived in Singapore on Friday on 22-Jul-2016, and what a way to enjoy your TGIF. I am lucky to spot the deal at Passiongadgets, so i can enjoy this printer first wave than the other local retail store and at a much cheaper price.

Unfortunately i have sold away my SP-1 printer earlier and so i cannot make a one to one comparison between these 2 printers.

Connectivity was a breeze, just download the Instax Share App for your mobile iOS or Google Play. The SP-2 printer prints at a faster rate these round approximately 10 sec for each print. I didn’t really notice my films has already printed out, the printing motor is really quiet and sleek compared to the old SP-1. I am sure the Fujifilm Instax SP-2 will be more productive during events when high demand mass printing is required.

The SP-2 printout is so much BETTER the SP-1, with it higher resolution, the image is more SHARPER, and the exposure is much more ACCURATE when i compare to my mobile device.

Enuff said, the Fujifilm Instax Share Smartphone Printer SP-2 is worthy if you are pondering to upgrade your SP-1. And for those who do not own a Instax printer, you should get one.

  1. Hi there, i would like to ask, for the batteries in SP-2. It is a removable type such as Panasonic CR2? or the batteries is those build-in rechargeable type? I went to ask around, some say build-in, some say removable type. So I don’t know which one to believe. I am considering to get one of this.

  2. Hi there Jackz, the SP-2 uses the NP-45S battery interchangeable batteries. In fact it is the same batteries used in Fujifilm Instax Mini 90

  3. Hi Xavier,

Was wondering if you could help me with this problem.

I own both the X-E2 and the X-100T. Both have updated firmwares.

I just purchased the new Fuji Instax Share SP-2 Printer which works wonderfully with my iPhone and iPad.

But when I tried using it with my Fuji cameras, going through the whole process of setting it up properly in both cameras, although the cameras would detect the Instax, after pressing Print, the image would start sending from the cameras but then I would end up receiving a “Lost Connection” message. And this would just keep happening.

Would you know of anyone else experiencing this? Could you help me resolve this?

    Many thanks.

    Robert
