Editor’s Word

Hear ye, there is a new game in town, and it’s worth to spend some time playing; it is called Katana ZERO. In short, Katana ZERO is time warping samurai escapade with engaging gameplay, mechanic, music, etc.

Katana ZERO had turned me to John Wick, the pixel art 2D game is captivating and I have never disappointed since I’ve started playing this game. Like the movie John Wick, it is about you being a Samurai in Miami executing your slashing choreography as you entered the room full of enemies. If your slash movements or timing don’t work, you’ll do it again.

Available on STEAM (PC) and Nintendo Switch Platform, and I just bought mine on STEAM for just only $14.50 (Singaporean Dollars).

About This Game

Extraction from STEAM

Katana ZERO is a stylish neo-noir, action-platformer featuring breakneck action and instant-death combat. Slash, dash, and manipulate time to unravel your past in a beautifully brutal acrobatic display.

Exceptional Combat: Overcome your opposition; however the situation requires. Deflect gunfire back at foes, dodge oncoming attacks, and manipulate enemies and environments with traps and explosives. Leave no survivors.

Hand-Crafted Sequences: Each level is uniquely designed for many methods of completion. Defeat foes creatively, using natural approaches to eliminate your enemy as you see fit.

Unconventional Storytelling: An enigmatic story told through cinematic sequences woven into the gameplay, twisting and folding to an unexpected conclusion.
