初七 of Lunar New Year, Maggie and I were very honored to be invited to Pee’s place for LNY Party. It was THE PLACE you have to be if you want to enjoy the FULL HIGH SPIRIT Lunar New Year experience.
Honestly my wife and i were kinda of culture shock because we have never been to such “loud” place. I guess most of my 30 years of LNY Gathering were mostly “SILENT NIGHT” and “Interrogation” being questioned with questions like: when you getting married, when you having babies, blah blah blah…

And NO, that did happened in Pee’s place, one program after another, surprise after surprises. Adults catching up, a game of Black Jacks, kids playing, enjoying round after rounds of high quality food, champagne, wine … receiving blessing from God of Fortune 财神爷, watching the lion dance performance, the high energy “Lou Hei”,  the rowdy and high spirit ambiance!!! (catching my breathe) oh gosh… almost like attended a concert by Bon Jovi.

Why When How It Happened?
It all started after Pee shifted to his new place in Bishan. Pee’s motivation was to keep family members and friends intact, and wanted kids to be happy, to build bond, togetherness and enjoy a good new year experience.

It started with his big family tree, and his close friends, and it group became a huge crowd. This year there were 109 guests turned up, as it turns out that his friends brought new friends along. For his loyal guests, it has become an annual event cannot be missed.

The “Yu Sheng”, “Fa” Ingot Cake from Goodwood Park, Seafood, crates of Cherries and Peaches, Roast Pig, Otah, Tou Huay, Fishballs from Bedok Block 85. Pee had put in a lot of effort and money for it, but luckily he had sponsors to share his cost.

As what Pee told me, everyone works so hard for the whole year, and it’s time to celebrate, let’s celebrate good, celebrate big, celebrate BIG TIME. (nod head, hands up, totally agree)
